Billie Dillon
Billie Pippin Beene Dillon, 77, of Greenville died the afternoon of May 16, 2006, at Presbyterian Hospital of Greenville. Funeral services are at 9 a.m. today at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Paul Blue. Burial follows at Shady Grove Cemetery.
The daughter of William O. and Flossie A. Jones Pippin, she was born Sept. 10, 1928, in Hunt County. On March 9, 1996, she was married to S.A. Dillon in Cumby.
Mrs. Dillon was a retired waitress, having worked for Dairy Queen and Royal Drive Inn. She was a member of Family Fellowship Church.
Surviving are her husband of Greenville; a son, Jimmy Edwards of Kempner; two daughters, Janie Cross of Copperas Cove and Linda Edwards of Tyler; two brothers, Wayne Pippin and Sammy Pippin of Greenville; a sister, Linda Brown of Greenville; 23 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, a daughter, one grandson, four brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers are Charlie Brown, Roger Pippin, Kevin Taylor, Eddie Edwards,T.J. Isbell , and Kenneth Edwards.
